How To Prepare For This Sunday

Hello Breakthrough Church!
Can you feel  the excitement in the air?  I think I’m gonna explode from the building anticipation over this coming Sunday. For real!!
It’s Breakthrough’s 4th birthday, Friends & Family day, and we’re launching a new teaching series called Servolution.   Gonna. Be. Awesome!   The entire staff is eager to get together this Sunday and I know many of you are too.  We can’t wait to get into God’s presence alongside each of you, lifting Him up and seeing Him show off!  So, in anticipation of all that God is doing, we want to extend this invitation to all of you…… get ready!  I’ve posted some resources below to help you prepare.   Song lyrics, scripture references, and links to YouTube in the song titles.

Our Sunday worship time is a corporate celebration of and for God that culminates how we’ve lived individual lives of worship Monday-Saturday.  It’s my desire that the resources below help you in living a life that is God-honoring every day of the week.  Take a few minutes to dive into the scriptures listed below.  Listen to the recordings linked in the song titles, and read along with the lyrics here.  Yes, they’re for helping you learn new songs so that you don’t feel disconnected during worship(cause that’s important to us J)…but most importantly so that your heart and mind will be prepared to experience the fullness of God and all that He has in store for us.
This past Sunday, Pastor Nate read Psalm 122:1 where David wrote, “I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let’s go to the house of the Lord’.”  David started praising God when he had heard that it was time to go.  He rejoiced BEFORE he got to the temple, right then and there WITH the ones around him.  I’ll bet they had an amazing time together in God’s presence that day.  They were preparing with praises!
I pray that you are blessed and that when Sunday comes you are so ready that you’re offering praises to God before you even set foot on the Breakthrough Campus.
I’ll see you, your friends & family on Sunday morning!

Solution by Hillsong (Psalm 68:4-6, Philippians 2:3-7)
It is not a human right to stare not fight
While broken nations dream
Open up our eyes so blind that we might find
The mercy for the need
It is not too far a cry, too much to try
And help the least of these
Politics will not decide if we should rise
And be Your hands and feet
Higher than all circumstance Your promise stands
Your love for all to see
Higher than our protest line and dollar signs
Your love is all we need

Only You can mend the broken heart and cause the blind to see
Erase complete the sinner's past and set the captives free
Only You can take the widow's cry and cause her heart to sing
Be the Father to the fatherless, Our Savior and our King
We will be Your hands, We will be Your feet
We will run the race for the least of these
In the darkest place we will be Your light
We will be Your light

We will run, we will run
We will run with the solution
We will run, we will run
We will run with the solution

For Your Name by Hillsong (Psalm 71:14, Psalm 117)
We've got a new life in the light of Your love
Called by name to the Savior of all
We've got a new song generations will sing

We've got a new hope all because of the cross
Saved by the grace You have given to us
We've got a new song all the nations will sing

For Your Name shines in all the earth
Great above our lives
Light of our salvation

For Your glory we will give all we are
All our lives for the love of Your Son
We've got a new song now that we are redeemed

For Your Name shines in all the earth
Great above our lives
Light of our salvation
Nations rise sing of all You are
Holy is Your Name
Lifted high forever

Our hope is in the Savior's love, You gave it all
Let all earth sing to Christ our King, Be lifted up

There is no one higher, no one greater, no one like Our God.
There is none more able, Christ our Savior, Great and Glorious.

I’ll stand, with arms high and heart abandoned, in awe of the One who gave it all.
I’ll stand, my soul Lord to You surrendered, all I am is yours.

My Nation Healed  by Free Chapel (2 Chronicles 7:14-16, Psalm 91:14-16)
I am Yours, called by Your name
I bow down, humble myself and pray.
Father hear me, Father make it right,
And use my generation to heal the nations crying out.

I won’t delay.  I won’t hesitate.  I will obey your call and abandon all to see,
The power of God, Your glory revealed, my nation healed.

We cry out, oh
We cry out, oh

Open up, open up the heavens, pour out healing rain
Open up, open up the heavens, I want to see my nation healed.Oh out, oh! 7:14-16, gs blended)  now! Such powerful truth!e weekSaturday also.  Don' theset.  Are you going to be ready?  R

God Be Praised by Gateway Worship.  One of my absolute favorites right now! Such powerful truth! (1 Cor.15:57)
You saved my life from death I was all but defeated
You spoke Your promises and brought life to my weakness
Came as a conqu'ring King and You warred for my freedom
My soul can't help but sing hallelujah
You opened up my eyes, For the first time I saw You
Your love commanding life and deserving devotion
You told me who I am, Now in faith I believe it
My soul can't help but sing hallelujah yeah

You've made a place for me, silenced all my accusers
Leading me forth with peace, Filled with joy I will follow
Your cross demands my life, Now Your grace is my anthem
My soul can't help but sing hallelujah, hallelujah

Hallelujah, we're redeemed and made free
By the blood of the Lamb we have won
Hallelujah, we will sing victory
Jesus conquered the grave God be praised
